Happy 2026! Sorry it has been a while since I last blogged. Life has been busy, but exciting at the same time. I want to share some of the highlights of the last few months with you, and also share what is happening in 2026.
I did recently post a Life Update YouTube video, so you can watch this by clicking on the video below.
DECEMBER

In December Andy and I enjoyed two lovely mini breaks – one in Arnside with my parents and the other in Chester. I created two VLOGS on my YouTube channel if you want to see what we got up to. We also hosted Christmas Day which was a lot of fun and I must admit the food we cooked was very tasty. You can see the family in the picture above, that was during a post Christmas Dinner walk!
JANUARY
In January Andy and I went full steam ahead trying to create healthy routines so we can accomplish everything we want in 2026. Here are some examples!
- I’m starting to make homemade food more so we avoid ultra processed food. I’m especially enjoying making my own bread!

- We are continuing to explore and go on adventures together. We love hiking as it is a great time to connect, plus find new routes for our walking business.

- Finally launching our walking business ‘WALX Bradford‘. It has been a long time in the making, but it’s starting to become a reality. Here’s a couple pictures from our training and preparation!

FEBRUARY
One of my most exciting purchases of 2026 so far (and probably of the last year) has been my electronic drum kit. I love drumming and I’ve missed it so much. My heart is getting stronger so it means I can start drumming again – praise the Lord!

HEALTH UPDATE
Good news, my MRI results are positive, which means the stent was a success as has fixed the defect which was causing high blood pressure. I’m feeling a lot better and am finding I’m able to do more physically, which is a big accomplishment for me. However something unexpected did happen in November. I had an SVT attack at home and Andy had to call 999. Thankfully the paramedics turned up 5-10 minutes after our 999 call and I was taken to hospital and the condition did not escalate and no further treatment was required. I had just walked up a steep hill, so they think that could have been the trigger. Since that attack I’m being extra careful in monitoring my heart rate when working out.
WALX BRADFORD
As I mentioned above we are finally launching! If you’d like to follow our journey and know of upcoming events you can follow us on Instagram!

What can you expect this year?
- Updates on our walking business
- Regular content posted on my YouTube channel
- Continued health updates
- Home projects
And much more! Thank you for reading this blog – have a wonderful rest of your day!
